Vista Alegre

 "The Vista Alegre was founded by José Ferreira Pinto Basto.

The license authorizing the operation of the Vista Alegre Factory was granted in 1824 by King D. João VI, passing it the benefit of all graces, privileges and exemptions enjoyed, or enjoyed in the future, the National Factories.
Five years later, Vista Alegre received the title of Royal Factory, to recognize his art and industrial success. Since 1832, the Factory has intensified its work and devoted himself to perfecting porcelain.

 

 

Vila Nova de Gaia - Fábrica Cerâmica das Devesas

One of the most famous factories in Portugal. History of Portuguese Silver

It was at the time of the great discoveries in the fifteenth century, Portugal began to develop a taste for articles of silver. From then until today, the Portuguese silver has witnessed the country's wealth in different periods of its history.
